It only lets me make my effect for one bar, how can I stretch the time to make my effect last for 2 bars?

did you insert an automation clip into the playlist? you have to stretch the clip to whatever set points you want.

i think i kno wat ur talking about, try using two gross beats. 1 for the first bar and 1 for the second. it might work havnt tried it yet.

I tried this still no luck
i think your doing it wrong.

if you just insert the automation clip and not change any of the parameters inside the automation then the gross beat will play threw out the track...

inside of the automation clip there should be a little line that you can adjust its level and points.

watch this video. the kid in the video is moving the points up and down setting it to were he wants it to come in and when he wants it to stop.

search youtube they got a bunch of other tutorials

Here's what im trying to do with gross beat. . . I'm trying to make a sound fx synth that transitions the final bar before the chorus to the chorus bars. Gross beat allows me to make an effect that lasts 2 bars. But I'm trying to make something that will last 4, something like Lex Luger's signature rising synth. I need to know how to make my sound fx rise continually throughout the 4 bars, and not stop after 2.

its pretty simple to do. what presets on gross beat are you using?

1) insert gross beat fxs into mixer
2) right click the volume nob of the gross beat insert on the right side and select "create automation clip" from the pop up screen
3) go to playlist, your new automation clip should be in the playlist
4) resize the automation clip to your liking, 4bars....

now you need to play around with the little bar inside the automation clip
when you right click on the line, you can make a break in the automation clip, and it adds a new point. you need to resize it so that the bar fits in the 4 bars your trying to work with.
the lower you put the bar or pionts, the lower you will hear the effect. if you raise the points to the top of the automation, the fx will be full blast.
so if you keep the line constant at the top then it should play threw the whole 4 bars, depending on the preset you may get different results but they all basically work the same.

if you want the fx to end suddenly at 4 bars then make the little points into a right angle or lower the point completly.... if you end the automation clip in a right angle i found that you need to extend the clip 1 bar or else it will play threw out
