I miss 90's everything. Especially RnB, hip hop and cartoons. Kids have NO CLUE these days... we had Jodeci, Scarface and TMNT. They got MTB4, Solja Boy and Spongebob. How the phuck you make a cartoon about a damn... man, n/m. RnB is garbage now cuz it's all synth corn pop thin bullshlt, give me some damn live instruments... and someone who can REALLY sing WITHOUT auto-tune or 83893 efx on his damn voice. And if you think I'm hatin, I don't give a DAMN... I'll backhand the PHUCK outta you! I remember watchin this video of Marvin singin while layin down on a couch... he was non-chalant as phuck and still out-sangin EVERYONE out today. Ahhh, remember real talent?

It just ain't the same... you can't help but be nostalgic, especially in times like these.

dont slap me:cry: . its ok to hate....its ok...

Some of ya'll act like it's wrong to reminisce on the 90's. We KNOW it's not coming back, you don't have to keep reminding us that. I don't need it to come back. I'm satisfied listening to my old RNB CD's until someone that can actually sing comes out.

Aww, keep missing it cause it ain't coming back. Seriously, people need to STOP wishing things were like they used to be. You starting to sound like ya parents. Just like people your current age hated the stuff you loved...you are doing the same thing presently. Just accept the fact that you grew up and you like the stuff from your prime.
I am not saying I hate all the new r&b. I like chris brown, love amerie, loved Dangerously in love. can't wait to hear j holidays album. love jill scott I just miss the feel of 90s music.

I basically grew up to very late 90's to new millenium music and although i don't want music to go backwards, I really miss those songs that really touched your soul and make you feel all crazy (man, those were the real crack).

Today's music is hot but I don't think a lot of people knowadays know how that feels like.

P.S. I am the only one that thinks Tamia's debut self-titled albulm was tha Sh*t? I think tha is the only RnB I can't stop playing from beginning to end.(maybe its beacuse I don't listen to much RnB)

Any other 90's RnB albulms you guys recommend?

yeh 90's music is cool...

check out- soul for real, new edition, keith sweat, jodeci, JE, blackstreet, az yet, allure, 112.

90s music in general was the $hit but I especially miss En vouge, Xcape, Jodeci, Blackstreet, Dru Hill and Old school Brandy. I dare anyone to tell me her first album isn't a classic. This new r&b is ok too but its hard to find anything with the crazy vocal arrangements like they had back then. All the live instruments and everything else that made 90s r&b great. Most of the stuff out now sounds like a soft hip hop record. Its disappointing.
Xabiton, man, are you a fan of 90's R&B. Dam, those were the days, man. Bobby Brown, Teddy Riley's Group, Guy, Shai, the Deele, and Jodeci. Man, I knew it was gonna come a day when true R&B producers were gonna be replaced by Hip Hop producers. I guess that's why I did Brian Cox's stuff. He kinda makes me think of the 90's R&B a little bit with his style of producing, which is mainly the usage of the piano. I really didn't like it when Timbo was calling himself talking about Storch. Talking about he's a real producer and you just a piano man. I don't see anything wrong with any music producer having the knowledge of playing the piano. I think Timbo needs to check himself.

What about how come how long by stevie and baby face. i had that song in my head all day today that and Dru Hill's In My Bed. I still want to know what keyboard they used for those rhodes on the main melody its so smooth

Im not too BIG on 90's RnB but Jodeci ft Raekwon & Ghostface - Freek'n U Remix is a great song.

swv, used to get it man they were so talented, its crazy how there were so many groups out that were gifted like that, like it was nothing.

Myspace is the new UNDERGROUND FOR HIP HOP AND R&B we need another site like that dedicated to hiphop and r&B to get real songs rotating again. It could help whether the site is like a radio station or not it would be...fresh to def.

i couldn't agree more. There wasn't a lot of artists out but the ones that were were quality artists. I don't see that now. Everyone is an artist and they are here today and gone tomorrow. I wish the artists of today were better quality and that might be a better way of putting it than saying I I dislike the music of today. I find it hard to find great artists in the mainstream nowadays. They are out there but not like they were 10-15 years ago.

the only group you named like that tho was Soul 4 Real. Dru Hill was making hits for a few years until Sisqo went solo and then he got a few more hits. We can't forget the Thong Song. TLC had a ton of hits for over 10 years. They just havent released anything since Left Eye passed. I don't think it would be a good look for them anyway. Left Eye really was the glue that held the group together I don't believe Chilli and Tboz could do it without her as a group but I believe they would both have great solo careers in particular Tboz. I think of Chilli like Kelly Rowland. They will do numbers but Kelly/Chilli will not outsell Tboz/Beyonce in the pop market.
