90s music in general was the $hit but I especially miss En vouge, Xcape, Jodeci, Blackstreet, Dru Hill and Old school Brandy. I dare anyone to tell me her first album isn't a classic. This new r&b is ok too but its hard to find anything with the crazy vocal arrangements like they had back then. All the live instruments and everything else that made 90s r&b great. Most of the stuff out now sounds like a soft hip hop record. Its disappointing.

Man, don't even get me started.

Dru Hill is my sh*t.
Jodeci too.

i just listen to newer neo-soul.. its the closest u can get..

musiq soulchild.. bilal.. there kinda earthgrown though..

i still got that Dru Hill CD

step 1.. walk thru that door
step 2.. make a sandwhich
step 3.. come to me
step 4.. i love you more..
step 5.. repeat step 2...

or somethin like that.. neways that song was fire..

I miss 90's everything. Especially RnB, hip hop and cartoons. Kids have NO CLUE these days... we had Jodeci, Scarface and TMNT. They got MTB4, Solja Boy and Spongebob. How the phuck you make a cartoon about a damn... man, n/m. RnB is garbage now cuz it's all synth corn pop thin bullshlt, give me some damn live instruments... and someone who can REALLY sing WITHOUT auto-tune or 83893 efx on his damn voice. And if you think I'm hatin, I don't give a DAMN... I'll backhand the PHUCK outta you! I remember watchin this video of Marvin singin while layin down on a couch... he was non-chalant as phuck and still out-sangin EVERYONE out today. Ahhh, remember real talent?

It just ain't the same... you can't help but be nostalgic, especially in times like these.

Sponge bob is the ****! i dont mind the synths either I like synths. I wish we had more good singers now tho. I am personally tired of hearing T Pain and Akon on every damn song. Its sad that the good singers don't even get their real shine. I'm talkin bout Avant, Amerie, Kelly Rowland, Trey Songz, Nivea, Keyshia Cole, Jill Scott there are more but I can't think of them right now. I am sick of Rhianna's non singin ass. She makes catchy music and I like a lot of her songs but shes not a great singer. I am mad at Beyonce for not makin great r&b when we know what she is capable of.

I blame technology its made us lazy. Nobody goes out and finds great music anymore. So whoever can fake being good and is good with people can get on. I'm not tryin to hate but its sad that T-Pain has gone platinum so many times. Its a shame Britney Spears has gone platinum so many times.

I don't mind when they are used to make good music, but when compared to the Mo-town sound... shlts not even close. RnB is tailor made for live backdrops, that's why today neo-soul is killin all this mainstream non-sense. It just sounds right. I'll put Badu's music up against any female in the game. After going to concerts of Lionel Richie and others, it makes all these other "performers" seem laughable.

Id also like to add that I hate reality shows. I miss sitcoms. right now my favorite tv show is Till Death. That show is hilarious. anyway my feelings on synths could have a lot to do with the fact that I love 80s music too. so to me synths and r&b just go together.
