Returning feed as promised.....
It was interesting for me to hear both the original and your remix for the first time. I can honestly say that in compositional terms the remix is much more to my taste. I particularly dig the break that kicks in at 1.23,which is rough (in a good way), the de-tuned kick and the filtering of the vocals. It was an interesting choice of tune to remix but I can see why you would - it is asking to be ruded up a bit, which is exactly what you did!
