Try out freestyl.in, a site I made that is a multi syllable rhyme generator! I made it for beginning rappers, or people who are just stuck sometimes. Let me know what you think :D

^^^Lol. You can't differenciate between cause and effect? Seperation of purpose? Ok, maybe you dropped out a lil' earlier than me?

Analogy time.

That would be like me saying "if you can't count well enough to sequence a beat you'll never make it as a producer". Then saying "DJ Blah said he never got it until he learned to count fourths, eighths, and sixteenths". NOT THE SAME F**KING THING. If anything it furthers my point. But this was never about "improving vocabulary", it was about having a manual that rhymes the words for you. I can know what a cat and bat are without having the knowhow to make them rhyme, can I not? And if I don't know what a cat and a bat is, then...dayum, i should be worried about more than rapping...like who's gonna hire my dumb azz when rap doesn't work out, lol. Quit dancing around the real discussion.

Em said he read a dictionary to improve his vocab after failing the 9th grade a 2nd or 3rd time...(meaning most people should know the words he learned anyways).

Not the same as reading a rhyming dictionary to rhyme(let's quit trying to evade that's all I'm against in an attempt to try to play the "contradiction role" when you're barely following the "diction', lol. He was teaching himself common words used in everyday life to speak as any other normal functioning person in society could and have the mindstate to apply common words that he didn't know to his craft.

Dictionary to learn words? Yeah, most people do that when they're 5. Rhyming dictionary? Most people never pick one up. Those that do are using a "cheat sheet" to play the role of someone with the minute ammount of creativity needed to make words rhyme(something you also learn when you're 5). Whether using 1 to write poens or songs, just seem like you're not applying yourself. May as well hire a ghostwriter, or at least co-write?

And again I will say(since you quoted it as some sort of contradiction). If you don't have the vocabulary to put together rhymes(like any 5 year old), you will get outdone by every "A$ap Young Gangsta Keef Boy"(dope name for a rapper, right?) who can. That puts you behind billions who "gonna make it one day".

Sorry for the harsh reality. You'd rather try to twist my words than hear what I said because you don't wanna admit how far behind you are.

You should be more focused on learning to control a crowd and lead up to where an audience is clearly hearing everything you say and on the edge of their seat waiting on the next line coming out of your mouth, how to pause at the perfect times to make the next line hit home, how to arranged and structure rhymes so you have consistancy from intro to outro, how to grasp emotion thru lyrics, authenticity(if you're a white guy from the burbs talking about the burbs you're better off than a black guy who sell dope talking about empowering his people) this shyt isn't learned in books, sorry. But again, I know nothing. The world is yours, see you guys at the top.

I think there has been some miscommunication here. Eminem said he was actually really good in english *at school, so it seems odd that he would need to read it unless he wanted to learn "extra" words. I personally read through to spark ideas and to relearn definitions so i don't slip up and say something dumb, i'm not going to learn a word no one uses, that seems pretty pointless. Your being very vague in your points.

Did you read my post? I agreed with not using a ryhming dictionairy from the get go. A lot of that stuff can be learned through talking to people or just using common sence. Yes, delivery is important just like a stand up comedian. "if you're a white guy from the burbs talking about the burbs you're better off than a black guy who sell dope talking about empowering his people" why's that? Wouldn't the black guy in that situation have a much easier ride?

Controlling the crowd isn't rocket science just have dope music and come in with lots of energy. The most important thing to research and learn about is a) how to gain dedicaed fans b) how to increase popularity (word of mouth). I have a basic understanding for both and just trying to impliment it into my lyrics now. You sound like your shooting blind.

freestyle is the key to success 1. writing lyrics 2. exploring new ideas 3. rhymes 4 . metaphors 5. wordplays etc etc
You can go basic like :

Yo I'm delving to deep into my thought so
I could express my emotions thats what i sought yo

---------- Post added at 04:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 04:12 PM ----------

If you wanna go complex then you can say Like

Yo I'm like a water that dropped & stuck in a pothole
My thoughts are chopped & Fu<ked loosing control
Its just a freestyle That i'm doing off the top from my dome
This is my battle I gotta face my enemies, 've em stop on my own

Just do what comes naturally. Don't force it or it won't be worth the time spent in composing it. If all you know is "genaric" multi syllable rhymes then go with that. The more comfortable you get with your own style and the less time you spend comparing it to others will be the most benificial.
Not saying you compare your style to others but something had to make you wanna improve your skills lol

Well my home skillet i was speaking to the original poster/
On how he needs to spit his own lyrics not those of a formidable roaster/
Of the microphone fearing his flow is so little when composing/
If he only knew he has no limit instead of limited notions/

I learned by studying artists thats really good at it. Eminem is a good example he writes the last few words of his bars first and rhymes each one then comes back to complete the beginning. might be a bit much for someone starting out but it will help. Also check out Big L he was one of my favs and inspired me to do the whole rhyme scheme bit. Look up 98 freestyle and youll hear what Im talking about :) good luck

Example:

See these stupid guys utilize foolish pride/
My vocals shot through his ride/
didn't hit him but scared him so bad the fool just died/
Left him crucified with a noose applied/
They charged me with double murder/
his soul left his flesh and committed suicide/
I neutralize crews how could you survive/
My paper and pen explodes/
like planets and meteors when the two collide/
You was tried then euthanized/
Me with a microphone is like an arsonist with a blowtorch/
unsupervised/
What I shoot will make Jupiter move aside/
Magnificent lyrical bigamist/
Verbal homicide is my newest bride/
Separate the truth from lies/
Treat you like fast food places do your fries/
Murder you super sized/

K-Rino - Forensics

Man, how ****ing stupid can people be.

How do you expect to be a rapper if you can't rhyme?

Answer me that

The key to it is to never force it, just keep working at it bruh, stay creative... soon enuff it'll flow like butter... PM me if u need any help.
Here's an example from a couple different songs of mine:

"..Me, I'm on point, got sense with my mind bent/ Eyes red, timeless, low is my eyelids/ Hoping that the vibrance can lower the violence.."

"... The only way to Do it is Big , Truly I Spit
For numerous kids and grown men tryna Move thru with Wit
Got to stay sharp can't be a Fool cause these Pigs
Will Ruin your Biz, cage u up and treat as Cruel as the Shit they swim in
Got me ready to add Fuel to the Whip
Gas these fake bastards as I Cool in the Mix
While they Fumble the Rules, I stayed Glued to the Script
Gotta stay Humble, make Moves, if you New to the Flip"
