Lol, and in response you tell me to watch a movie on rap, lol? Kids these days. No wonder rappers sound like they do these days. I'm sure the guys in the movie telling you their techniques taught themselves though polishing their own craft based off knowledge of the sound of hip hop and getting booed on the block if what they brought was wack while getting appraisal for comin' correct. NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.
As for the weed reference, you overlooked my point.
I guess you you have no problem with shooting someone and drinking a cup of tea? That effects most people the same...a long prison trip.
All i'm saying is, live the lifestyle, embrace the music, and find your lane. You don't go from zero to MC after a few tips and tricks. But you can go from hip hop fan to MC in a few cyphers if you already have the foundation in your heart.
Metaphor....fiend for the cheddar more....
meet ya moms, disrespect the whore, them legs, you betta spread em' more....
act outta line and ya face gonna get fed the floor....
ballin in my mind, I ain't gotta check a credit score.....
@Oneoff, it would take more work to look up a rhyming word than it does to just say the 1st thing that comes into your mind. If you can't do that, you cannot and never will be able to rap well. You'll rely on a book of reference to give insight into what you're about. That's senseless. That's pretty f**kin far from hip hop's foundation. But I get it, to you guys I just sound like some old dude who is too stubborn to pick up a book.
If you lack the comprehension and vocabulary to put together rhymes(multisyllibic or otherwise)and have to rely on other sources(books, net, ghostwriters, ect)you will NEVER exceed the talent of any given kids sitting on any given corner in any given town in the world who simply has the talent to do so.
2) always contradict what you say^^^I didn't say they were dumb, lol.
Yet, Olie somehow "agrees" with the only foundation behind any post I made in this thread. Rhyme books in hip hop are a no no.

I ask because all i could find was him interviewing that he read a dictionary to improve his vocabulary.
