Could anyone tell me how to do this? I'm trying to clean up my plugin list in FL Studio 5 because alot of them are not compatible with the program.
I can't find those bad boys. Its stuff like Nero Scene Detector, Nero Audio Stream Renderer, Sony MSA Converter etc. I can't use these with FL Studio, so why have em pop up on the list?(I'ma neat freak)Esthetix said:Or just go delete the actual files from the vst directory. Right?
That didn't work, nor did visiting the control panel.Xperiment said:In addition to the above suggestion, you should also go to 'add' channels, as if you were adding a VSTi or DXi, and uncheck all the DX instruments you don't want to appear on list.
Umm, this still didn't work. Anymore suggestions or am I going to have to live with these incompatible plugins?Xperiment said:On FL's menu bar, click on 'Channels'. Then click 'add'; then click 'more'. You'll get your list of plug-ins (DX, VST and FL's own plug ins).
I think the DX plug ins are at the beginning of the list. Make sure the boxes are not checked. If they are, they will appear in your list. So click in the box to uncheck them (whichever they are). Refresh the plug ins folder (at the very bottom of this long list, if yours anything like mine). At the next request to add a Plug in, you shouldn't see the undesired ones anymore.
then you can search your PC for the plug ins and systematically delete them. But so long as they're checked in FL, they will appear in your list although they will not load at all.
Good luck.

Okay, I open up FL Studio. The channel menu that is at the top is Channel menu that I'm clicking on. Then its Add One -> More.Dr. G said:Wait, let's clear this up,
From wich screen are you trying to remove plugins, the one you see when you go to "Channels -> Add one" OR "Channels -> Add one -> More"?
GotchaDr. G said:NO, you CAN"T remove plugins from that list, only if you delete the files manually.
