Ground loop noise from studio monitors is quite common among music producers, and it can be extremely annoying. In this video, I'll be reviewing the ifi GND defender, which is a relatively cheap device that will intelligently prevent the ground loop from occurring in the first place. This is a much better solution compared to trying to filter out the noise after it has occurred, using those cheap filters that people often use. Those will typically degrade your low-end and make it difficult to get a good-sounding mix. In my experience, the GND defender is by far the best solution for fixing ground loop-induced noise from audio setups.
