How to put your thoughts into lyrics?

So I have this project due and I have to write a song but Im having a hard time putting my thoughts into lyric. Do anyone have any advice?

Hmm i saw someone use AI to write a song *which I am obviously not suggesting* but my formatting the song like you want your on and letting it write its own that might be a great place to start brainstorming. Take the AI lyrics and trade them out, paraphrase, use metaphors punchlines and all that stuff.

I pick a subject matter, than a beat that somewhat fits the tone of the song.

than look through like 70 pages of lyrics cherrypicking any already pertaining to the subjec. Than I see ifI can use or branch off of them
