How to get your kick come through like this? Experts please [example included]

Hi guys,

So im pretty known how to mix your kick with bass and the rest of your track to let it punch through. But when I have a track thats full of instruments I always have issues.

So I found this track thats also really full (synths, drums, brass, bass) and still this kick is punching through pretty hard and gives it soo much energy.

To learn this is a big goal of mine, so I hope we have some bad ass mixers here on this forum, cause I want to know every bit of it and how Oshi did it on his track.

Ps just to give a short explanation how I mix kick. Sc it with the bass and a little with heavy synths. Then I make sure to give it room with eq so I wont clash with the bass, so I look where the highest peak is and take out a bit on that frequency at the bass.
 
First of all:

- songwriting
- composition
- arrangement
- Sound selection

I bet the usual suspects will strongly recommend sidechain-compression... on bass, on synths... on everything. SC Hurray. :D
I just tell you there's much more you could (and should) do in the mix to reach your goal.
