ive wondered the same thing. he does that alot. but it sounds like he just used the basic wah effect on the mp with some filters on it.

u need to mess around with the cut off... go to the INS window select CUT go to the bottom u will see LFO you need to automated the AMT & SPD knobs. Right click knob create automation clip or you could just link those two knobs to your midi controller rotary knobs and record the automation live...

if u check out track called "No Sunshine"

w ww.reverbnation.com/schizobeatz

I just automated the AMT & SPD knobs and it created this weird FX sound

also, look into how to use the LFO on whatever you use, it also can be used to create a wah wah.

go to youtube, search for nfx, under his profile, his has tuts, one of them i 4 the wah wah effect on fl

when u run it through a low pass filter some sounds naturally get that wah wah effect , eg the natural four 'try love again' , the way he flipped it for cl smooth...

I think I did it, not exactly sure though...

i'd appreciate any feedback

That's actually a sample he's using. I can't rember the sample name but I've got it at home (I'm at work). It's an intro on a song. Pete Rock used this sample a lot. Go to w w w . youtube . com/watch?v=zT2dcMJQnMU (no spaces) PR is playing around with the sample on the MPC. So, it's not an effect he's using, y'all. It's a sample. KEEP DIGGING!!!
