So after going through all the basic eq and compression and cleaning your vocals up what extra effects are used to get a nice crisip high pass voice like this song? Ive been trying for weeks and still cant get it. Thought I would ask here...

Starts at :26

hi pass/low-cut at 150Hz, add some emphasis/boost around 800Hz, hi-cut/low-pass around 6kHz

Compress it and then add MAAG EQ4 as EQ. Download the demo. Its a fully working 14 day demo.
Set the air band to 2,5 KHZ and crank the Air Gain up hard.
If that does not bring out crispiness in your vocals, there is something "wrong" with your recording.

There are also a multitude of good EQs that will make the same crisp top.
After my MAAG demo ran out I am using my Waves VEQ4 with the preset Steve Liliwhite male vocal for the similar crispy top.

And as BC said - low-cut somewhere around 100-200hz.

I would try to even out the dynamics of the highend using a multiband compressor.

Definitely going to look into this - Can you elaborate on what you mean low-cutting - Im sure I know how to do that, I self taught my self, so I am terrible with terms.

Low Cut refers to adding a low cut filter that rolls off/removes frequencies below a given frequency; in this case around 100-200 hz.
You can use an EQ plug for this or use a designated Low Cut filter. Just experiment with where you wanna cut the low frequencies to get the sound you are after.
