Love it, very soulful and ambient. Though i will say it headed in a different direction than i predicted from the into you gave it. Sounds pretty dope, maybe throw a bass line in there?
 
I tried the bassline and dumped it because i thought it was too agressive lol

Yeah man, if you mixed low enough, it might just be enough to give it that extra umph :)

Pretty good i like the concept and chops. Try speeding up the tempo a bit.
 
- Nice flip of the sample -- i would maybe speed up the beat a little just to give it a little bounce?
- I would turn up the kick as well
- I would say try playing your own bassline under the sample -- just to give the whole beat a fuller feel

Definitely a great concept! I can see Kanye use this on Watch The Throne

I have to say I agree with the others about needing more base, but as well maybe some stereo enhanced sounds? It still sounds good but not quite to the point that it could stand on its own. I could see this being a real hit though with a few tweaks.
