Myspace is controlled.

You dont have to answer the messages if you don't want to.

And its not disturbing..you control when you sign on myspace.

You can't control niggas calling your phone.

You all can come up with all the scenarios if you want...but it doesn't rock like that.

You are absolutely correct! Let me ask you though, when you call Bank of America... or whatever you carrier is, do they choose answer the phone? Of course, you have your jerk exceptions, or busy lines...

What about 411? How many times do they answer? 10/10?

Why? Because that is their business phone. They are getting paid and brining the company in money when they answer to help some douche bag where the closest Hollister is.

You get my point? THing with A&R's, they really don't have to pick up the phone, mainly because there isn't a tracker tracking all the missed calls and hang ups.

Now if this was their personal phone numbers (personal cellphone, or house phone) then your argument will be 102% valid.

411 doesn't say "if yo want some information, you roll your fat ass down to our Headquarters".

I understand but what if you are not able to travel like that? I am just playing Devil's Advocate because it seems that cats in the game who have had some level of success always look down on cats who are trying anything possible just to make some noise and get noticed. You and Chase are in the industry practically so you have a certain access that some of us don't. So maybe you could enlighten us on how exactly to approach people in hopes of getting our music heard.

BTW, i feel myspace is like throwing a letter in bottle into the Atlantic Ocean. It may get to it's pointed destination, but chances are it won't.

Get an entertainment lawyer or a manager to shop your ****. You'll be better off letting somebody with the inside connections handling your ****. If you're broke they have organizations with Entertainment lawyers that shop your material for little or nothing. You just gotta get off of your lazy asses and look it up. This is a business. It's ain't PS3.

I just did a lot of favors.. I was always a real dude. always in studios before I was producing.. always had my hands in projects.

i think it is tacky. It cheapens it. from what i 've heard, you have to actually have networking and skills to stay in contact with A&Rs. but whatever.
