Yeah, somebody some where will get mad at you even if you had good intentions for what you did so be careful.

Come on Chase. What do you mean by "anyone unwanted". Everybody is an upcoming producer, programmer and beatmakers trying to get on. No such person is unwanted. Everybody is trying to do business and make a living from it. You did the same, got a break and now you are making a living from it. Come on . . . . .

An email you can control.

I also know how they work..they aren't going to take unsolicited material..especially off a phone call.

You don't do music for business purposes so I can understand your statement.

I got my break from setting up a meeting with the person who contacted me and proving myself.

I didn't contact them.

This is a "who you know" business...so if you don't know these cats on a face to face basis..your chances are slim to none.

Axis..dont stop posting man, THATS AN EXCELLENT LOOK!!! We all know that its "who you know" in this biz. Your just saving people the digging time to come up with these numbers and contacts. We SHOULD all only thank you for the generosity. In fact there is a book that im sure all of you who are anybody know about its called "The Music Powers that Be" there are SEVERAL A&R contacts in there and the author says "these people are aware of my book and are expecting your contact". You plainly posted the same thing here "send them emails first to ask permission to submit" SAME DAMN THING!! We must use all info to the fullest not BASH a person for trying to help someone out..GOOD LORD. And right now the music industry is being more leaniant about situations like this...CUZ THEY WANT FRESH MATERIAL and money isnt the same so they are looking to more bedroom producers...anyway..GOOD LOOK MAN, KEEP IT UP!

Man on the real i say bump em.lol i think its more than just putting their number out there ,i just think its that he(Chase) dont want nobody to get heard.lol(it may be the reason he posted but i dont know) shoot if i was landing placements i would reach out and help people cuz im not a stingy dude its not in me to "not" share.lol

That's true. Most A&R's won't take any unsolicited material if they haven't met you, spoken to you or come to you directly for material. That been the case, you don't need to worry about that, Chase, because 90% of the people who contact these A&R's will be rejected anyways.

True thats what I read up on I didnt even bother looking at the numbers...cause I have a bunch of contacts but Im just waiting until im at the point where Im fully confident with my work. And after how to approach A&R's and execs the right way
