HELP - Audio Technica AT2020 Recording in MONO only

i picked up a AT2020 mic and hooked it up to my Scarlet 2i4 interface and when i record into adobe audition, it is only picking up mono (in the right stereo and not the left). I'm a newbie, anyone know how I can record so that it picks up on both L+R??

The 2020 is a cardioid condenser mike, in other words, it is not a stereo microphone. You need two mikes and two channels, or one stereo mike and two channels, for stereo. Change your track settings to mono, and you're golden.
