I'm currently blessed to be DJing 4-6 times a week and I've noticed that I definitely am exposed to loud noises more often than most people. Sometimes my ears hurt or I get paranoid that I'm abusing them. Some of the clubs I play at are REALLY loud. I do use Shure in ear monitors and keep them in the entire time. The problem, however, is that I still have to have the volume in the headphones pretty loud in order for me to hear and mix correctly. For this reason, what I'd like to ask is... do you all know of a product out there that will hook into my 1/4 or 1/8 headphone jack out from the mixer that will allow me to EQ out some of the highs? I don't necessarily need to hear the highs as much as I like to hear the mids and the low end in my in-ear monitors. Thanks!
