Hip Hop's b'day is August 11th, 1973 but the more things change things stay the same. Every decade brought and brings forth simultaneous shifts and stagnation in the content, musicality, artistry (or lack of the aforementioned depending on personal or impersonal view) regardless of an artist's geographic location, socioeconomic status, etc.
