Chris Emdin (the man behind this style of pedagogy) is an academic beast, point - blank - period. Last year he was a guest lecturer for one of my classes here at the University of Wisconsin; after he gave his lecture about the newfound strengths that manifest by incorporating hip hop with the outdated (or even disengaging) methods many public schools use to teach science in the classrooms, he started up a cypher. A few friends and I freestyled with this man!!! It was crazy dope, you could really tell how passionate he was about academia and how much he loved hip hop culture. It's good to see that he is continuing to broaden his reach and is collaborating with the GZA. Thanks for sharing this video homie, I appreciate it.
