It depends what kind of producer you are. I am a vintage synth lover so I have all the vintage synths like the ARP 2600 and the Jupiter 8V.

It also depends on how much money you want to spend, and how much CPU you have. Waves plug in's are IMO by far hands down the best plug's, but then again I do a lot of rock stuff too. Bluecat is good, and you can get a pretty sweet FREE pack. Ozone is a great mastering plug for the money.

Depends on what you're trying to produce. For trance, Z3ta, vengence, Vanguard, Genesis, Zebra, and even toxic biohazard are good.

check out altiverb 6. Its the best reverb i have ever come across but its quite pricy

If you make electro dance, or dubstep. Massive is some sort of godlike Vst Lol . but yeah, depends on what you want the VST for to begin with

I think you should search for vst's at ik multimedia and native insturments . . They are pretty good !
