Give me ideas for a "producer" tattoo

I've been wanting to get a tattoo on my arm for a while but i don't want to until i got an image i'm really happy with. Could you guys give me any ideas. Here's the elements i'm thinking about - guitar (my main instrument), something that says producing (like keyboards,fx) or music in general (like notes on a staff but something cooler), fire, something mystical, a chick with big boobs (ok, that might be a bit much).

I know that's really vague but if anyone has any ideas i'd appreciate it. I'll post a picture back when i get it done. Thanks
 
Don't get anything spur of the moment. The tattoos I'm getting are ones that I've been sure I've wanted for years. I decide on something and if I still want it 1-3 years later then I know I'll be happy with it.
 
hey i gotta tattoo for my love a music and all...its just the main objects that started music to what it is today..im 18..so tho think im old head...the tattoo got a elvis mic..cd's..boombox..tapedeck..guitar..its not even done yet..its gonna have keys notes a music stanza headphones the whole 9..its a sleeve in process..
 
Get a picture of a MPC MIDI'd up to a vagina and your importing "gush" samples ;)

he's right..i've been wanting this tattoo for as long as i've been into making music...so just be careful wit wat you choose
 
keep it simple man staffs, notes maybe some graffiti (for the hip-hop aspect). You dont wanna get no dumb shi like a MPC, phantom thats just retarded and I would laugh your @ss out if i seen any piece of equipment besides a mic
 
I really dont have any ideas but a good friend of mine would, he's a tattoo artist. He was Big Pun's personal tattoo artist and hes done tattoos for cuban links and some members of Dipset. check out his website: www.GrinStylez.com He has great ideas and loves music. When I get my gold record, that's when i'm getting my tattoo...I already know what it's gonna be, and where it's gonna be!
 
I'm getting soul in Japanese on my chest. Something to represent the birth of my son not sure what yet and something music related.

My boy Mike's tat is pretty dope. It says Earth, Air, Fire, Water no matter which way you look at it.

id want to get something tatted on my chest or stomach, on the arm is too typical of a spot, i have an idea, but i would want to think about it more before i ever did it

Not the greatest tattoo or anything, but this is what I did last month. It's gonna have to be touched up. I don't take tattoos all serious like most people do. Everybody likes to say the famous line.. "but it's gonna be there FOREVER, what if you don't like it later on??" Ummm... get it covered up into something else! You can cover up damn near any tattoo.

If you look close you can see my nasty, puss-filled infected ingrown toenail. Those are REAL fun to dig out! (worst pain ever!!!!)

That Earth Air Fire Water one is great by the way.

i'm confused about tattoos


one side of me say do anything spur of the moment that has meaning and represents that phase of your life. i think it's dope because then your body becomes a time line of your life. on the other hand i want to wait for years and be sure i want whatever it is I'm getting for life. the time line idea is dope to me. i have tattoos of things I'm not even into now but when i look at them it takes me back to that time and reminds me of how passionate i was about these item'ssubjects that that phase of my life. to me i guess the key is make sure that your passionate about music enough that in 20 years if you dont play or produce anymore you can look at it and say "man when i was a kid i was all about it and that was such a fun time".
 
I think if you are passionate about music you'll always be passionate about music. Whether or not you keep making music or just become a fan of it I'm sure you'll still have the same passion.
