lol...this is funny.

1) The DOC is a writer for Dr. Dre. So is Snoop. Everybody knows that. The DOC makes his living as a song writer.

2) Everybody knows that Diddy doesn't write rhymes...he writes checks. Why is this a surprise

3) Everybody already knew that Jada was and is one of the most in demand song writers.

4) Everybody knows that Jay wrote Foxy's early stuff, before they fell out.

5) Everybody knows that TI has been writing songs for Bow-Wow lately.

So what big REVELATION did this list make? None that I can see. Just look like someone went through CD booklets, looked at the publishing credits and connected a few dots, and made a few assumptions in the process.

People...Co-writing happens when someone comes up with a hot line for you when you're stuck. If you're in the studio laying down a song, and you get stuck writing a line that rhymes with a particular song, and one of your homies gives you a dope line, THAT'S CO-WRITING. So they gon get a little piece of publishing on that song.

Rap has songwriters as well. Get over it.

You wanna impress me? Find out who FIEND (yes, from No Limit) has been writing for. That's what I want to know.

I heard he's been writing for Webbie, Lil' White, Lil' Fate, Mystikal, Mia X(obviously), Lil' Romeo, 5th Ward Weebie, Pastor Troy and countless others.

I also heard he wrote or co-wrote "Wipe Me Down"(original & remix).

i can't stand people that talk that "all for the love" ****. if someone was doin it all for the love, u would probably never hear of them because they would be sitting in their rooms writin rhymes or whatever. people put out albums for a reason, people stand on the streets and spit for a reason, Graf artists tag their names for a reason, Fame! everybody u ever heard of decided at some point in their life that they wanted recognition for what they do.

Pharoahe, Common, & Kweli writin for Puff should be something that their fans applaud, and some of them do. the ones that start talkin that "he sold out" **** are just fake fans that only listen to music when it feels exclusive to them, once they feel like it's not "their own" anymore, they start to hate on it

I have a problem with the ones who do this for NO/LITTLE LOVE but strictly for $$$. It is evident in most new artist whole attitude/lyrics/persona who does it strictly for $$$. We all wanna be paid for the trade but at least appreciate that you gettin' it. How about a free concert in your hood or suttin' just to show people your really one of them (leave the diamonds home) since you claimin' to be "in the streets" anyway. It can't always be about the $$$.

Let's see who can quote a Daddy Kane line the fastest

I detect a bit of sarcasm but honestly -
Cats don't know that Fiend is one of the MOST prolific ghostwriters of the last 5 or so yrs (peep any interview he's done recently).

He's never named names but the rumours i have heard (OFFLINE FROM CREDIBLE SOURCES) include Eve and Twista (yes that twista) among others. From what i have gathered he has written some pretty BIG records for some pretty BIG artist.

^^^ Co-sign, I actually ran across him a couple of times when he was still in record limbo with Double R( he has a studio in Baton Rouge that i have been to), and on one of those visits cats was asking about who he wrote for since he kinda let it slip in Scratch I think who he had wrote for; some of most of the names you guys mentioned are accurate, but he kinda gave some hints to others that were easy to figure out (Stat quo, JD, Trick daddy, Trina, P (of course) Swiss Beats, and some others). Trust me, dude seems to be living quite well for himself for what i can tell.
