Alright, so I found this song rasa - when will the day come - YouTube as it was sampled in "Take it EZ - Common". I dont know if it's soul, funk or something else, and I can't seem to find anything similar to that song.. So do anyone know the genre of this song?

I'd love to hear the rest of how he "exploited" it, not that I'm bias towards him or anything, just genuinly interested in why it's so.
