Ive been getting artist feedback for these beats, especially M.O.E.

but as a producer I like to know what other producers think because we hear things artists dont, and there is always constructive criticism to give and things to learn

I appreciate honesty and will return the favor asap to those who respond to me

they are the 1st two beatz on my page

thanks

man you talkin bout me? boy! lol on the real being truthful boy why are you not out there already with about a million? lol nah but on the real man you style sticks out it's not like everything else i hear out there i like how your drop are different you not tryna imitate no one with your stuff very talent homie boy hands down i take my fitted off to you you blessed with a great talent bruah keep up the good work homie

Ima start by saying that you obviously got talent bro. your beats are crispy catchy and well composed......but does it have a soul or theme besides "southern banger".

Don not get me wrong, for those who do this as a living it is essential to provide the industry with what they want. But I got got to ask you to ask your self something, if tommorow for some random reason the "southern" beat era dies, where will you stand? Will you be obscure or will you be the one creating the new sound for the future.

I hear this same beat in general in about 95% of the beats here...personally that's a red flag. that's just my take tho.

The one beat that i feel is truly stepping out of the "safe zone" are "walk wit a bop", "Lyrikill", and epically "middle of the road" (love that).

In conclusion I by no means mean to down your talent, creativity, or style...but as producers we got to decide if were gonna "run with the big dogs..." or "walk the big dogs" ?

thanks for the feed
checked out a few of your tracks, nicely executed, especially on MOE, it's real catchy

damn I appreciate the feed, Im glad it came out good to most cause I was proud of it but its always interesting to see how other people feel about your work.

romer i feel what you sayin as far 95% of music out there sounds similar, but look deeper into my work (even just the beats on my page) and you see that by no means am I a "one dimensional" producer

I keep a variety of beats covered

- R&B - Contemplationz, Cant Sleep, My Girl, Day Dreamin, ect
- Club - Feelin So Fresh, Liquor Puoring, Top Of My Game, Make It Wobble ect
- Smooth - Copesthetic, Smooth Killah, Kushed Out
- Gangsta - On My G Shyt, Creepin, Nightmarez (classic)
- Deep - Middle Of The Road, Everyday I Wake (classic), Anything Iz Possible

- then of course its dirty south anthems, and a few experimental ones like walk with a bop

Point is, every song has a different feel and attitude, If Dirty South suddenly wasnt hot anymore then It wouldnt stop me from making good music, thanks for the reply though, I feel what you was saying. Im not just in it for money tho, I live and breath music of all kinds styles

Thanks for the comments guyz, im gettin back at all of yall threads right now

MOE sounds right up Yo Gotti's alley, you should try get this placed honestly. I can 100% hear this on the radio, its not the sickest beat i ever heard, so im not tryna gas u up but, this really has that radio appeal which i think its what ur aiming for. Dope stuff

Liquor Pourin
Only thing id say is do something to the vocals for da hook, chops there were too "expected", not to say to do it like this song, but just to get you an idea of what im tryna say. How dey chopped up the ending of the hook for Bottoms up, was pretty dope. But anyways, just saying should do somethin special for da hook imo.

Overall this was good for what ur tryna go for, could be better tho

Them joints are clean.

You need to get that M.O.E. beat to Choppa City or Shawnna ASAP. Hit them or Big Mike(M.O.E. CEO)up. You can track them down on twitter or myspace.

I try to critique guys on their individual styles but Romer has a point. That being said, everybody has their bread and butter and you can't sit around wondering if your bread and butter genre will ever fade away. I think Romer's point is just to learn how to do several styles of beats. That being said, you got everything that T.I., Rick Ross, Jeezy and Luda needs.
