Fruity Slicer Question

Been using the fruity slicer to chop samples forever. Always noticed that if I load a large sample maybe 3 minutes or longer without setting up chops in edison first it will auto chop, which is fine. By why does the number of samples in the piano roll jump from say 100 to 500 and something? Where are the chops between 100 to 500 if it shoes slice number 500 why doesnt it show those below that number?
