from Exander to Sampler, is possible?

Hi friends,
this is my 1st post here..

I am new to the world of expanders, samplers, etc.
I own an old EMU Proteus 2 expander xr,
and a sampler Yamaha A4000.
I would like to know if is possible to transfer the sounds from my proetus 2
my expander (something like midi in/out mode)..
I would like to copy the sounds of the expander to use them only with the sampler ..

I doubt there's an easy way to directly transfer the patches between the two, but you could look into Extreme Sample Converter or Chicken Systems Translator. Might be a good idea to ask them if this particular combo is supported.

I think you would need to sample the audio from the Proteus into the A4000 and that would be a pain in the ass, the alternative is to look for an E-mu sample CD that already contains the Proteus sounds.

Why don't you want to use the actual Proteus?

yes you have right, will maybe better to find
the emu proetus 2 xr samples and to load in to my sampler..
well, i dont use the proteus 2 xr,
so i only want to load the best sounds for me and to sell it
