Awesome job! Registering now. Nice looking website. I wish I had this idea :P I think this has serious potential to render some cash dude, gl and thanks!

This is a great idea, I've just registered...will try upload a few myself!

Great idea man, I think it will be a great learning tool for a lot of people..(me included lol)

You're a God damned God send. I was just going through charts and working on chords for a remix i'm working on and I stumbled upon this post. I LOVE it!

However, as for using a rating system, maybe it should be rated so only moderators can see the contribution? Cause otherwise I feel that people who are newer will just see the top rated and presume it's the best for whatever track they're working on and just download based on that. Instead I feel they should be learning not just about chords but a little about music theory and understanding you need to pick the chords that your vocal / the rest of your track is in.

I hope what I typed makes sense, if not please excuse me as it's 4:35AM and i'm immensely intoxicated.

Thank You for this great resource though!

I signed up and uploaded a bunch.

I'll keep adding more in the future.

Sometimes using midi files can help when you have "beat block".

Just uploaded a dope "west coast style" one...

this is great! a great collab tool and a good way to defeat writers block!

Thanks for your feedback guys!

I've had midichords.com up and running for some time now and I am interested in hearing what could be done better or different. Should it be easier to search, download, upload, share?

Perhaps the interface could use an upgrade to make it easier and more fun to work with.

Drop me a comment and let me know what you guys think. The bottomline is that this should stay a free resource for everyone and the more midi files it contains the better!

Cheers,
Marc

Thats a good idea, only its not really cool if people use it for their own music.
I just like to learn of things like this.
