FL Studio-Wrapper Help

Does anyone know what the wrappers as plugins into the mixer are for? Is there a difference between the Fruity wrapper and just the wrapper for the mixer? I am confused about this whole thing and what to know what they are for?

Thanks,

The wrappers in FL are nothing more than a communication tool that FL uses between the VST or a DX plugin and itself.

In order for FL to run the plugin it must go through the FL wrapper first to run inside the DAW.

Basically there are two types.
One that runs effects (these are for the mixer to run effects like compressors, eq's and stuff) and another type for instruments (these are for the step sequencer like, Nexus, Kontakt or a synth or something).

However, keep in mind that you can NOT run a instrument through the wrapper for the mixer or vice-versa. The plugin will not work if you try to.

Don't worry there is nothing for you to do to run them as they run automatically in FL when you choose a plugin you want.
