Maybe it's better to look at how sales are locally. That might say more than any nationwide record sale stats, cause if you can't conquer home court, then you sure as hell won't conquer the road. Unless you go overseas like that lady sovereign. hahah
this statement doesn't apply at all i think, little brother is from my area. and i've had conversations with caesar (co-founder of the justus leauge). when these cats were tryin to get a deal, raleigh wasn't tryin to hear them at all, they didn't get signed until they caught the attention of a cali label. and still to this day raleigh doesn't pay attention to little brother. they'd rather hear fat joe, jigga, 50, and whatever other high profile gangsta/pimp artist out there. raleigh fans aren't down with back pack ish for the most part. so, home doesn't always care about what you do.
but don't get it twisted, i like to listen to everyone i just mentioned so don't start tryin to say i was clownin anybody. im friends with cats in the little brother camp, so they gets love from me.
