Whats poppin!!

Just in case yall were unaware I have recently set up a review site dedicated to beat reviews. Appropriately titled: BeatReviews.com | Its Time To Be Heard. Its a feedback forum dedicated to providing a platform for growth and promotion for its patrons. (Artists and Producers)

Not only can you post links to your Soundclick, Facebook, Myspace, <=== is anyone on there anymore? lol, www.yoursite.com, twitter, etc.. You can also embed your Soundcloud player, Cloudset player and Youtube videos as well.

It doesn't stop there...

I also have the site set up to feed the title of the topics posted (Your song title for example) to twitter and facebook with a link back to the topic page. Giving the site's patrons additional exposure for their topics and tracks.

With that said, come and be a part of the BeatReviews fam and get your music heard TODAY!

Is it free?

JUST KIDDING LOL!
sounds like a good idea homie. imma have to check it out.

bump!!!

Great idea for a site. If I may give a suggestion, the biggest problem I think with the review threads/sections/forums etc is that every beat tends to get a lot of page views/listens, but very few actual replies/feedback.

You obviously cant force ppl to respond, but, you chould somehow implement a small, simple pop-up with a vote box, like Yay or Nay, so at least the producer can get a general idea of public perception. A lot of ppl probably dont want to take the time to give a long detailed response, so they dont give any response at all. With a simple yes/no vote box, not everybody would vote still, but probably more so than without it, and then at least the producer will get some kind of feeling on the track.

You could even program it so it pops up when someone presses the back-browser or close buttons, so they cant leave without at least voting, or closing out the voting box. Odds are ppl would just click in a vote if its already up, rather than close it out without voting at all. Plus you could set it up so that they only have to click yes/no once, and then it will automatically perform the action prior, like if they were trying to go "back" to abother page, it would automatically go back once the press yes or no, or "close" the page, if thats what they were trying to do. That way, voting wouldn't really be any extra step or clicks, and ppl would have no reason not to at least vote.

with the exposure you're talking about, whats your target demographic and network like with facebook and twitter?

100-500 // 500-1000 // 1000+ people?

- is it targeted to beat buyers/artists producers or people that are just listeners?
- what's your page rank and seo like for your site?

please dont take my reply as a negative one (i have a feeling that it might be taken that way), i'm genuinely curious and trying to provide feedback to make your website idea a positive one.

Not a problem at all.

I appreciate suggestions and comments.

This thread sums up the difference between BeatReviews.com | Its Time To Be Heard. and other forums:

And to briefly answer your questions:

Beatreviews.com is linked to 10+ social networks. One of which is a FB account which currently has over 1800+ contacts. Most of whom are either Managers, Dj's, Artists, Producers and Music Fans.

If you want to see the SEO you can simply view the source code on the actual site and Page rank (as I'm sure you know) is built over time through deep link building.

why not link the FB account with 1800+ members and twitter account?

Sorry, what I meant was... What is the link to the Facebook page and twitter page?

^^ Good Stuff! Welcome aboard!
