You are the one that said that he would lick Vida Guerra's ass after she took a ****, right?

Because, you know, the world will never forget.

hahaha

peple always use that against him (if it is him that said it i dont know)

The first Eminem single I heard was "My Name Is" I thought that it was a joke..a gimmic. It reminded me os some Rodney Dangerfield/Weird Al BS. Than several of my partners start raving about this cat. It made me sick to my stomach. I refused to listen to Eminem/Slim Shady EP/LP. When the Marshall Mathers LP dropped, I still wouldn't buy it but I was feeling Stan..so when the Eminem Show dropped, I actually bought it and liked it. I actually started giving the dude props. But when he dropped Encore..I didn't appreciate him dissin the legendary MJ no matter what people are saying/thinking about him today. So I save my money but still got a copy from on of my boyz. I listen to it once and threw it away. That ****z was garbage...he lost half of his fans with that BS. It sold less than half of the previous CD. I can't believe I got suckered into liking his music. I knew he was garbage from the start no matter that he could rhyme..just because you can rhyme doesn't mean you should rap.

Now this new single...pure trash. I am happy that he put it out. The faster he ends his career the better for hip hop.

okay so you knew he was garbage from the start because you heard his first single and judged 70 minutes worth of MCing on a music video designed to suck mainstream listners in...My Name Is, Real Slim Shady, all of ems singles were the last songs he recorded on the album, for publicity.

Ignore the played out singles and you have yourself a ****load of nice songs, too bad you didnt peep him in 98', because he was spitting fire back then...i do agree that anything after the eminem show is garbage cept for back in the lab EP.

I judge him correctly the first time even only listening to that commercial garbage. He can't blame **** on his record company. He was Dre's pupil. Dre sold millions of albums without putting BS out there. Em could have done the same thing. Some of the greatest rappers put out commercial music that wasn't corny. Em is corny and I got bamboozled.

Em has never spit fire. He was creative with his rhymes and humerous atr times...but he never said anything that made me wand to rewind (ok, we don't rewind anymore but..)and want to listen to it again...being amazed at what he said.

I am glad I didn't peep him in 98. I would probably be still brainwashed :)

What's funny is that the artist he signed (50 Cent) is probably the main reason why his sales are dwindling...MTV generation's short attention span switched from one gimmick to another.

its like... stickin my ears in a blender... on that whole "not listenin to em becuase of singles" Marshall Mathers Lp is one of the greatest discs put out in the last decade, hands down... if you want eminems real talent, you should pick up infinite, hard to find, but if you do, its worth the search...

and just on some rantin sh*t, 50 is doin exactly what em did, except for the fact that the tracks that arent singles on 50's cd are straight garbage... the media is so flooded with these club/"Bangas" that people have lost the fundamentals of hip-hop, a message, some well-put together lyrics, and a nice flow... all people seem to be talkina bout here is "oh his beats are all wack" ... whats the point in that, just because youre a producer not gettin cash for your "fire beats", dont mean that critiquin someone else's is gonna get you anywhere, you end up ruinin yourself...

*breathes* bottom line is, em's makin some crazy moves, but he got every single one of us to listen to that song, even if it was just once, we listened, and that's good business, because half the people that listen once are too stupid to realize theyre still listening...

yea...that was garbage. Seems like he's not having fun anymore.

Oh well!

Pe@ce

I just finally heard the song.

That was hot

Trash that is...

Damn...just now noticing that too...earlier this year you couldn't watch 30 min. of MTV without seeing or hearing Eminem, now you dont' see his a$$, but Fifty's...Maybe the same will happen to his homeboy...
P.S.- also, did anyone notice that Fifty's M.O. of singing the hooks and a lot of his verses reflect Em's method of doing the same thing...

First..50 Cent didn't borrow anything from Eminem..certainly not singing hooks. That **** has been done for quite some time now (Ja has been doing it for years more recently).

'I am the worst thing since Elvis Presley..to do black music so selfishly..and use it to make myself wealthy'...something like that. Em wasn't joking..he stated plenty of times that serious **** is said in jest. He was showing his true colors here.

I am a good at judging people and reading in-between the lines. Everything they say about that clown is true..and I hate to agree with no-talent catz like Benzino. Em's days are numbered..thank the Gods.

Why should anyone pick up older Em stuff? There are plenty of greats that I would rather listen to. I could easily name 100 CDs that I would listen to before listening to Em.

then name some, other than Pac, Biggie, Jada, Talib, Little Brother, Busta, Nas, Jay z, or anyone else that gets play on these boards, because it's something id find hard to say...

i said pick up the older stuff because it actually showcases his talent, listen the the freestyles hes got out, from back in the day, the man was a battle rapper, who happened to get a deal, most cats out now cant even spit one line to save they life...

There is nothing anyone can say to me to make me listen to Eminem and his music. He is falling fast and I am happy.

I am not going to sit here and say that my favorite hip-hop artists are the best lyricists or didn't make mistakes in their career, but I would rather listen to the following commercial artist's CDs (old or new) before I would listen to an Eminem CD:
