Keef is signed under Interscope, and was given his own label GBE. Im assuming GBE is a subdivision, under Interscope. Now Keef is with Bricksquad 1017? What the **** is that? Is that just some hangout gang that Gucci made up, or is it a real label?
If it's a real label, how did Keef get Interscope to sign off on such a move? Even if it's independent, why would Interscope allow one of their artists to release music without their approval?
Rap labels seem like the biggest bullshit in any industry. Some guy gets signed to a major, gets his own label under the major, starts signing new rappers to his label, then the new rappers get their own labels under the first rapper's label. All the sudden some rapper has his own label, which is basically a sub-sub-sub-sub-sub label of a major label. This shit doesn't happen with any legitimate industry. It's like giving someone a fake business title, because you don't want to give them a raise. Oh, you're a project manager now, go answer the phone!
