^^^Definitely agree about the overrated producers you listed. These mofos don't hold a candle to Mannie Fresh, Just Blaze, The Alchemist, Dr. Dre, and the old Swizzy, etc. I fell in love with hip-hop around the time when Cash Money and Three Six Mafia was hot around '98 or so.

One time, I used a premade loop from a sound pack, didn't change it. Then used a drum break, just looped it. Added a bassline and sold it. The one who bought it still doesn't know that I did it. But it eats at me...

That's really it.
 
My confessions...

1. I hate that people consider BIG the greatest ever. The guy had one classic and a double disc that should've been stripped down to one before he died. All of a sudden he's the GREATEST?!...pffft!

2. I hate most down south rappers. Not all, just the one's that have no skill and no feeling in what they write, just an accent and a "bounce" which is about 96% of 'em.

3. Pharelle hot/cold ratio is about 1:39 to me.

4. I'm a 90's era head and I'm starting to hate my man Premo.

5. R and B isn't dead but in critical condition.

6. And if you don't like live instruments you should leave this website...sorry just my opinion.
 
The DMX/Swizz combination was the best in the game at one point. These mofos was banging shyt out left and right but people seem to forget those days. Youngins just don't give a shyt.
 
Umm...let's see

- not really a fan of Biggie outside of a few songs
- have almost stopped listening to rap altogether
- I've bought every Alicia Keys album
- I wish Amerie had more ass. Then she'd be perfect.
- My biggest peeve is a good singer who sings every pitch perfectly but lacks soul. **** outta here with your natural auto tune.
- I hate my Korg Triton.

I dont think Biggie is good at all.. Besides "Who Shot Ya". 2Pac isnt too impressive either.

I think Vol. 3: Life and Times of S. Carter is better than Blueprint.

I bought Blueprint and only listened to it all the way through ONCE. After that I only listened to "Takeover," "Never Change," and "Izzo."

I think Timbaland is a Grade A, certified, douchebag.

I have never heard Illmatic a day in my life, and the only song I have heard was "One Love."

I think Rakim is overrated, and I think Big Daddy Kane was better.

From that 2Pac statement, I think Quincy Jones is a fag.

Herbie Hancock is a music god hehehe, just thought I might throw that in there :D.

And if ANY popular mainstream artists were to even come close to being the best rapper alive, it would between Andre 3000, and Busta Rhymes.

I think Will Smith (Big Willie Style Will) should be in everybody's top ten.

I own a couple Ja Rule cd's.

I fuks with Taylors Swift, she has some dope songs IMO.

I LOVE ol school R&B ish from like 90's n ish...(xscape, swv, boys II men, B knight, jodeci etc etc.

I too have called Reason "REASON(S)" lmfao! complete accident i swear !

I listen to "untitled" by D'angelo and try and sing it to girls...nah im playing. LOVE that song tho.

Listened to Keri Hilson's "Come Clean" all night one time.
 
I stole the melody to one of my beats from a cheap-ass music game called...music maker for tha ps2. That sh!t originally got me interested in music.

Eminem's "toy soldier" is what got me interested in rap.

I thought lil jon was obese for tha longest time. lol

I haven't listened to too much pac n biggie. (I should prolly do a lil studyin.)

Aaliyah One in a Million is a my favorite song. I have went to sleep with that song on repeat plenty of times.
