Also to address why Troup is disliked:

It is most likely due to his lackluster beats not matching his arrogance(his ish sounds good sonically but the beats are just wack),

Opinions. Post up one of those mixtapes of yours, and see if anyone says your joints are either HOT OR SONICALLY GOOD...

You'll get crickets, I guarantee you.

And I'm not arrogant, I'm just confident in what I do, and where I'm going. I never put ANYBODY'S music down, unless they attacked me first.

If you don't think that you are destined for greatness, then your mama didn't do her job. Don't get mad at me for that.

his refusal to admit that his degree and job is the reason he has connects in other words he paid for them,

Hmm...so my Information Systems Degree...and my Systems Administration job...ARE THE REASONS THAT IMPORTANT PEOPLE LIKE MY MUSIC???

Hmm...that doesn't add up...please explain. This oughta be a good one.

annndd he admitted on camera that he is a candidate for Dateline NBC, which is my main gripe with him considering at the time I had an underaged sibling whom is gorgeous like an adult. The thought of him flirting with her was repulsive. Seeing cats still remain cool with him,yet dehumanizing R.Kelly also boils this unknown substance coursing through my veins...hypopotamuscrits.[/COLOR]

Oh Geez....here we go with that crap again. We can talk about this on www.IndustrySound.com tonight...be there to present your side, and i'll be there to tell the REAL story...8pm EST.

Not including most his recent auto-tune work, I think Lil Wayne is one the greatest rappers of all time.. His versatility, word play and the way he says things are amazing.. His mixtapes are some of the best rap I've ever heard.

I somewhat agree with you. He's not the G.O.A.T. imo, but he's definately underrated lyrically. Some people think he says dumb shxt, but from a lyrical rapper's perspective (I used to be), his metaphors and wordplay are way beyond any other mainstream rappers who have came out in the last 6 years.

But it's pretty ironic how alot of ignorant people are fans of his, as opposed to people who have knowledge of the shxt that goes over everyone else's heads pause.

^he might be one of the greatest MAINSTREAM rappers of the decade, but not one of the greatest rappers of the decade.

Too many artists would eat him alive, but he's got mass appeal so what he lacks in talent, he makes up in weird.

Lu's Food N' Liquor was on of the few albums that I listened to from start to finish. shyt was fire imo. But yea he do be sayin things that go over your head. I might have to replay tha track a second or third time before I go "ohhhhh". His mind is way in left field. a "Modus Operandi" of sorts. I don't go seek out very much underground music, I have to stumble upon it 'fore I listen to it, so my opinion might be useless depending on your standards. But I do think Lu is a God lyrically.

Mc Ren is my favorite mc from Nwa, Busta Rhymes would be one of my favorites If his voice wasnt so gritty, Michael Jackson got me into music and 50 cent got me into rap specifically. The Eminen Show and Get Rich or Die Tryin are my favorite albums. I like T-Pain alot but my favorite rapper is Ghostface Killah. I don't believe in the hype of Drake and I like Jay-Z but I think he's overated, sometimes I don't Always feel Lupe either. I started producing dirty south beats but now
only want to do soul sample beats. I think Danja is better than Timbaland, and I also like the song 4 minutes by madonna. I think Big was a nice rapper but prolly not even in my top 10 and I still feel Tupac and eminem are underated.

Cool but tell me one thing. How do you consider an artist who's been considered "the greatest rapper of all time" as being underrated?

i think 80% of the producers on here are Lame and make terrible music..

Hey, I've seen some people getting called out in other threads for liking Miley Cyrus and Paris Hilton.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CONFESSIONS THREAD, STAYS IN THE CONFESSIONS THREAD.

i've deejayed using pre recorded mixes before (which is the only time i've deejayed).

Big Willy Style is the first album i ever spent time learning the rhymes to (and is largely responsible for how i rap today).

i started liking hip hop for the instrumentals and never actually listened to lyrics until about 2005 (the first time i remember hearing hip hop was in 1995).

i used to really think that kanye west was going to save hip hop.

i have been noted many times for saying that i think andre benjamin will save hip hop.

I will only address this part of your rebuttal
as the rest is not important to me.

Fail more pervert.

- I PERFORMED A n'sync SONG IN A 5TH GRADE TALENT SHOW WITH 2 OTHER CATS FOR LAUGHS.
- Think most hate Jay Z off what they hear, rather than his lyrical delivery and talent.
- Hated and still do Hate on Lil' Wayne but know most of his tighest mixtape tracks.
- Want to **** the shtt out of Hannah Montanna
- Cant decide if biggie or pac deserve to be the G.O.A.T, wtf DID THEY REALLY DO?

^^^ Man, I still listen to Euthanasia 4... FP slipped on this one.
