Hi,
I am new at EDM producing.
I started with a Sample Construction Kit to get used to this and to learn.
One of the first strange things I recognized was this:
The single Tracks, like Kick and Rides, are a little bit warped.
They start in perfect tact/bar, but then after a few hits, they are moved up a few ms - I did a screenshot:
1) Ride extra verzogen Kopie2.jpg - DirectUpload.net Cloud
bigger: Bilder-Upload - Kostenlos Fotos hochladen und ins Netz stellen
2) kick extra verzogen Kopie2.jpg - DirectUpload.net Cloud
bigger: Bilder-Upload - Kostenlos Fotos hochladen und ins Netz stellen
as you can see it is really just a little bit, maybe 1,2 or 3 ms.
Now my question: >>> Is this a common stylistic device in this genre, for example to give a track this "PUSH MOVE FORWARD" feeling? or is it my DAW Ableton, which is ****ing with me?! Because I switched warp off and imported the samples several times.. and it's still like this.
thanks in advance!
