I've been gathering tips on setting up XP for my DAW from the threads here and MusicXP.net, and want to finally get down to some glitch free producing.
I would like to know more about setting up two seperate installs of XP pro, so i have one install for Music only and the other install for everything else, i noticed in Mano's great thread this was mentioned and i am really interested in this.
I have two hardrives, one is 40 Gb, the other is 80gb, on the raid system (not mirroring, just for the ATA133 speed). currently i use the 80 for just audio and vst plugins. my pc is P4 with a gigabyte 8pe667 ultra2 motherboard, 512Mb RAM.
If anyone could shed some light on the best software to use/methods on how to setup a dual O/S setup, i'd be very grateful. and i intend to use all the relavent tweaks on the Audio O/S setup already shown on Manos thread.
I am fed up with the contant glitches and crackles and want to get on with making music without the headaches. I spent out a lot of cash building this pc with quality components.

ps. is it better to connect to the RAID or the IDE connectors with my HDs? they are both7200 btw.
