drum kit help!!!

i recently downloaded a dj premier drum kit, and fl studio shows the the whole .rar file but i cant seem to open it to use the individual sounds, what am i doing wrong?
 
Maybe I didn't know something about Fruity Loops...but....don't you have to unrar the file? Does FL ready rar files?
 
i already have winrar, the file is compressed and everything i just can't open the file in fl studio the hits aren't listed it's just one file i want to know how i can open it in fl studio so i can use the sounds
 
Under FL's browser you have to refresh. Look on the top part of the browser, there should be an arrow that looks like a Refresh arrow click that and you should see everything. And double check to make sure you didn't put it in the wrong folder.

That's what I'm asking....If I understand correctly, you have WinRar, but the file is still compressed? Well, you have to to unpack the WinRar file and put the samples in a folder, don't you? Same with zip files. FL7 (at least mine) doesn't read rar or zip files. You have to unpack the rar file in Windows before you open FL and start making tracks.

Sure, in my FL 7 I can see the zip file in the file tree, but I can't go into the zip and grab the sounds I want. I have to take the samples out of the compressed file.

If I'm misunderstanding and you've already unpacked it, I don't know what the deal is....
