Drake’s highly anticipated album Thank Me Later has been leaked

I told ya'll to get ready...Swag Hip-Hop= 80s Hairband...Drake/Kid Cudi/BOB/Wiz Khalifa= 90s Alternative...music works in cycles...but I don't expect you to listen until every beat on Soundclick features a guitar, pads, and live-sounding drums. Then it will be too late :)

Dis is just like wayne wit da carter 3 it leaked a weak before release and they had a whole new album next week sells a million. It's Promotion

it wasn't a new album they just pushed the release date by a week instead of waiting two weeks. Since Cortez is Drakes manager also he should get on that.

I haven't Thank Me Laterit but the Hype had me feeling like Drizzy Drake was gonna move around a million units :banghead:

Oh yeah...don't expect another Hip-Hop golden age until later in this decade(2016-2020ish)

Nice analogy

Thank Me Later = (808's & Heartbreak - Kanye) + Drake

Thanx H&R (DJ Nice)

It's not at all what i expected but the females mite luv this tho so there 's where the sells will come from

I think realistically Drake will do between 180k-300k 1st week at most. Haven't listened to the album yet about to check it out now.

this is gonna be one of the biggest sellers in a long time.

U really think so???

I read an interview that Sade was one of his favorite singers and he even tried to snatch her up for a collab on his album, but she declined because she doesn't like collabs.

She shut Big Boi down on a feature too. Supposedly Nas is the only rapper to have worked w/ her even though the track(s) are unreleased. :banghead:

Do you realize that Drake OWNS urban radio lists across the country??

Turn on the radio RIGHT NOW. I GUARANTEE YOU, within 15 MINUTES, you will hear a song with Drake's voice on it. Turn it on any Urban or top 40 radio station.

I guarantee it.

BOB did what, 500,000 his first week out? Drake, riding the Lil Wayne Fame Train, is arguably twice as popular as BOB.

He'll do it. Even with this leak he'll do it.

its wack to me

if you're into whiney emo rap.. a la kid cudi, B.O.B. and such you might like it.

1 minute its " i hate my life, life is so hard blah blah blah"
next track its "im fukin your b*tch, and poppin bottles in the club"
the next track is "im so deep, even tho people think im shallow"
then "money money your b*tch suck my dick cause im wheelchair jimmy"

if you like niggas who whine.. this album is for you..

Lol.

You should start reviewing albums and give it the run down just like this.

Not even in a rush to even look for the leak..

Drake ain't really what I look for in a rapper.. I'm sure i'l hear it at a friends house or something in the near future..

sucks tho having your hard work leaked out for free tho..

Leaks always suck...

with that said, how did anybody listen to So Far Gone and NOT expect Thank Me Later to sound like it would have Sade beats? lol

nah, BOB did like 100k or something like that, i think his singles may have done good but i think he's stuck at like 180k so far

I don't know why the whole thing is soft because the masses liked that hard shit he was doin.

pretty much, i think that the collective attitude of the public is that they want some harder music. i swear all i read on other forums and from peeps i know in the real world is about how soft rap music has been. Over was "hard" in comparison to all the other stuff thats been on the radio and everybody liked it, but the album is full of the same stuff everybody been complaining about. what is with these damn artists?

girls gonna love this album.
I'd rather listen to some cocaine raps, but the production is great tho. i like these ambient joints more than trap beats.

if drake is ja rule who's gonna be 50??

the media/himself

after listening to this album, ive come to the conclusion that he suffers from depression, and that he is his own worst enemy lol..

either that.. or hes gonna get ruined by some stripper chick on some simp shit

BOB did 84,000 1st week. His singles did great though. Radio play doesn't equate to record sales nowadays & Drake's hype isn't anywhere near where it was a couple months ago. I mean he might surprised me & do more than that, but i doubt it. Did Find You Love even chart???

EDIT: B.O.B. only sold 84k & right now he has 2 singles in the top 5. One of which went #1 & is still at #5 & the other is at #2. Over & Find Your Love are at 19 & 20 respectively.
