Yo...I wanted to thank you guys for the tips you gave me about sampling. If you don't remember I asked you guys like last week sometime. Well I just wanted to give you guys a listen at my first attempt. Tell me what you think, and anybody else too. Oh yeah some of the slight popping noise is from the cd I used. Got it from the library the thing was all scratched, but I think it gives it an old vinyl feel. I tried to get the original off *****, but they only had the en vogue version. ONE

thats a real good first attempt. keep it up. :cheers:. the only advice i got is for you now to try rearranging the samples so they dont sound so much like the original song or stop using vocals, or experiment with slowing down samples instead of speedin em up. that'll help u get more versatile with sampling. u pretty much pulled a Kanye with this one...good sh.t though. tryin out that other stuff shouldnt be a problem for u though. u got the basics down pretty good already.
