I was thinking of Lena Horne my bad. Anyway this is my first dig in about a month. I have been looking for that Jermaine Jackson for a minute.
 
Just came back from a digging trip to chicago and stoped off in detroit on my way home.

I bought about 400 albums or so. I went to the infamous Beverly Records, Dusty Groove, Daves, and oone other store i cant remember the name. Beverly Records linked me up nice. I told them i was from toronto and they gave me a free t shirt and gave me a really good deal on all the vinyls i bought there.

Shy Town is the shiet. Im also a big fan of Chicago soul. Theyre still hard to find out there though, like the chi-sound record label and a few others.
 
I haven't hit up Goodwill in a while but founds some pretty good stuff a few days ago. I wondered about the dvd at the top. Anybody seen it?

Also, if anybody wants the Roberta Flack or the Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack album let me know. I've got both already but couldn't pass them up sitting there. :) I thought someone else might enjoy them.

That Blackbyrds album has one of my all time favorite breaks on it. "Dreaming About You"
 
THe Donny Hatoway with Roberta Flack isnt that great why couldnt you pass on it lol

Not for sampling. I just like a lot of his music. It's not worth anything but the music is to me. Didn't know if someone else would appreciate it too.
 
thats what i meant i should have been more clear i dig for good music first samples second

Is there a break/open drums on that Sandy Nelson? Dudes drums are soooo heavy!

I see your Half Priced Books switch to them new stickers. I like them a lot better. They come off so much better/easier than the old ones!
 
I hate these stickers they are labeled n shit. I used to take the old stickers off of records and place them on the doubles i accidentally bought and return them lol. These new labels are labeled with the record and artist title. Boooooo! I havent listened to that record yet ether. I am still going through stuff from my last post but both the Queen and the Van Halen have open breaks which is why I bought them
