Hi<
I just saw this recently and thought they were the same.
Stanton mixers have Cue pan while pioneers/rane have Cue split.
Whats the diff?
I am interested in mixing in headphones by mixing in the cue in stereo thru the headphones. Like 75% master and 25% cue...or something like that. I guess the cue pan feature has comething like master in your right ear and cue in your left, NO stereo.
Is that right?
The Following is from pioneer pro dj mixers manual. How does headphone cue pan differ? Im more interested in the Stereo mode, not mono.
=================================================
HEADPHONES Controls
& MONO SPLIT/STEREO selector switch
Use to select whether to split monitor sound on the left
and right of the headphones or to keep sound in stereo
form.
When set to MONO SPLIT, the headphones output is set
to 2-channel monaural; the Left channel becomes the
source selected with the H.P CUE switch, while the Right
channel becomes the master output sound (only when
MASTER H.P CUE switch is set to ON).
