i like to cue with the pitch bend buttons....it's pretty cool that you can just tap the buttons even while in the mix and get your beats matched without noticing too much.
i do not however use the wheel to cue at all..it's too unpredictable.
So you mean you beatmatch with the bend buttons right? It's indeed slightly better IMHO too, but that depends on the ammount of bend it brings. FOr instance, I just tested the CMX3000 from Pioneer and personally found it's too "bend"-er, but then the jog dials are too so one must get the feeling of both not to screw the mix. Either that or use the pitch slider like on a TT. Denon players have excelent bend features, very smooth. Numark and Stanton are OK too.
have you noticed how good the key correction works on this unit? i've heard it on others before and it didn't have such a good effect without screwing with the beats.
