smooth beat i would say that maybe adding a sample esp in the change up part, would make this beat a bit more exciting and not too dry keep it up bro

Just listened my g I can tell your on a new path learning and experimenting. The timing is a bit of so it doesn't flow well but I can see the idea. This track kind of has the Odd Future feel with the vocal snippets and the off beat feel of the drums. Everything sounds off, but still together if that makes sense. Interesting beat.

the snare placement is really awkward at times. i think the drum sounds are a bit dry and loud relative to the instruments and sound like they came straight outta Lex Luger Drum Pack. the melodies / instrumentation/ sampling / progressions are all strong points, i just feel the drums are letting them down a bit.

I like the drums!
They are sometimes offbeat but this is
what gives that nice feel to the beat!
The mix is ok. Some panning on hats would be nice.

The main sound is cool, and I like the pluck sounds, but they aren't always in key or in time with the melody. I like the drums, and I can see where you are going with them, but at times their swing is a bit high and makes the beat stutter so its hard to rap over. The background synth that comes in also isn't always in key. All in all tho, this is a really cool idea, just work on refining it musically.
