Cue point management

A noob question. Where do I set cue points? I know some set it at Intro, Build-ups, Chorus, Vocals, Basslines, Outro, etc. When I try to mix it like that, I have two vocals playing on top of each other. Oftentimes, I miss the point where I should have bought in another song to mix it in. I've been setting cue points at 8 bars before I should start mixing in another song, and that has been working out for me, but on some songs, they have a 4 bar or even a 2 bar intro. What am I doing wrong here?

Set your cue points where you think you should begin mixing the next track in. I usually have one cue point at the beginning(the load marker), one at the first build, one at the drop, and another somewhere near the end(either a build or a drop). I only have four cue point positions on mine so I'm not sure how yours is but just be creative bro. :P
