Read and become familiar with your manual. Watch and find understanding in tutorial videos. May be worth you watching tutorial videos prior to version 5 as well...

Did you get a copy or bootlegg download?

If you bought it, youd know that there are video tutorials built in to the programs help menu. Covers badics on set up, kong, clips, audio/midi, and sampling.

Read the manual too, theres bootlegg manuals for it online I think.

YouTube would be your best friend (there are plenty). Reason's own website has a getting started tutorial as well.

Skim over the manual (reading the certain sections that interest you).
