Copyrights and Song Themes...???

Can there be any copyright issues considering the theme or words of a song...?

Specifically meaning...Can you use the character, name and theme of a book, movie or other entertainment media in your song without running into copyright issues...?

Example: Abstract - Neverland

Clearly...the song's theme is centered around 'Neverland' and 'Peter Pan'.

So...is it possible for the publisher or author of the Peter Pan book to sue on copyright issues...? (j.m. Barrie)

So for example...Can I use 'Winnie the pooh' and 'hundred acre wood' as the theme of my song just like the above example and be 'safe' from copyright from the author/publisher (A.A. Milne or Disney)...?
