What do u guys use to clean your vinyls? I read online that you could use soap and water or windex. I just dont wanna damage my records. Thanks for your help.

I use a mixture of distilled water & isopropyl alcohol. Also a microfiber cloth.

Works wonders.

Why would anyone want to clean their records? I don't get it, vinyl is supposed to be dirty. The more pops and clicks the better. *shrugs*

I mean really vinyl isn't supposed to be dirty lol. Records should play flawless & with as little noise as possible. I know where your comin from though lol. When I bought records with the sole purpose of sampling, the more tore up & crakly they were, the better.

If there is a lot of surface noise, it can ruin your listening pleasure. At least that's the case for me. I've been using AM Record Cleaner fluid, it comes with a microfiber cloth.
