Mariah was good back in the day. When she sung faintly, it sounded nice, now it sounds pathetic.
Before when she sung strong, it was powerful and impressive, now it's just screaming.
 
Haha. 8 octaves. Imagine that, some of yall must not know what an octave is... Honestly all this search for vocal talent seems to ignore actually having soulful vocals. Personally I wouldn't care if someone had a ****ing one octave voice if they could put some real emotion into it. However most music ain't even written for that anymore, I would shudder to think of some bluesy singing over a crunk ass faggot beat.

ye... i myself have a 4.5-5 octave range as a tenor, and falsetto adds prolly 2-3 more somehow, i can confortably sing soprano.

mariah carey has 8 octaves because Satan is in control of her soul.
