Chord progression sequencers???

Why cheat yourself? Just learn your chords and scales if you wanna be a true producer.
 
I still am learning my scales and chords that's fine, but because piano is new for me, it helps get familiar with the different sounds within the scales. Instead of just reading a site that lists a bunch of letters on the screen. Would help to actually hear what they sound like and what they sound like together. Definetely learning to play, wouldn't want someone to ask me to play my song and not be able to.
 
Yes, I agree, learn them but there is software that will help. Its called Harmony Navigator. Really cool and helps tremendously when creating with chords.
