808's is a hip hop thing......it has probably been in every hip hop song since its introduction in 1982 the classic sound that will never go away

i guess i can see that. but 808's are the sound of the industry for now. the past recents years have been owned by the South. so people from all over have been using that "sound" since that's what the collective rap audience likes right now.

i think u know what i mean ALIASRTrP....the way south uses the 808 is different to how anyone else uses the 808...am i right or am i wrong?

the people that made that song said they made it for little kids

word up i kno my old girls that be doin this dance in the cklubs when ever it get played the dance is jus as bad as the song though

They're getting paid and getting heard. If you're not, it's better than anything anyone ever heard from you, because no one's hearing anything from you. Why don't you get off that lil' girl's nutz and try getting on your grind? You're losing to a 12 year old.

it's really not THAT dumb...if you look back to the 90's and 80's there have been many other dance hip hop jump offs...it's really nothing innovative it's just that it has the southern sound format as opposed to the old school bop format.

Exactly... yall people cryin bout these songs are no different from a teacher trying to enforce dress codes and ****.... everything aint gotta be so complicated. I should go make "the wheels on my impala go round and round"

Yeah, this just proves even more that people will buy ANYTHING! I just went and heard this on youtube for the first time.... umm... wow!

Lyrics-
Let it rain.... clear it out (repeat)
Chicken Noodle Soup.... with a soda on the side (repeat)

I think that was it. I could be wrong, because I actually stopped halfway through. You gotta give me props for listening to it THAT long though! I know this is a "fun song" and it's not meant for lyrical content, but THEY DIDN'T EVEN TRY AT ALL!!!!!!!!!

I never thought I would say this about a song in my lifetime, but I actually liked Laffy Taffy more than this song.
bubble gum music

lmao at that honey bun & kool aid

where im from its honey buns wit a blue hug
hmmmmmm i can see it now, little kids round' the world singing "honey buns wit a blue hug, got my money fo' sum honey bunz wit a blue hug- repeat x2 lol

As much as I hate the song, i'd take a bunch of these over the laffy taffys, and goin downs ANY DAY!!

I mean, atleast the message in the song isn't derigatory in anyway, which is a plus considering over 90% the top hits from hip hop are always about the same thing. Mackin girls, being gangsta, and sellin dope.

This is good for the kids :)

You have to understand that this is a fad that was born in the ghetto (the dance) and had great support even before the song was out. Therefore, whoever did the dance b4 the song probably feels a great deal of pride and ownership of the song. That is why it is so popular.

i'd like to hear her find the right note in that song live with no backing vox. there are no notes to reference key, just that siren. and btw, isnt that the siren from busta's touch it/ dmx's new ****? it seems like everyone uses the same sample once it gets hot but damn, thats like 2 or 3 hits using the exact same sample right in ur face as the hook of the beat. btw, I kinda like the song.

everybody needs to realize the song was for children not adults.if i had children old enough to sing i would rather they sing this shake your laffy taffy.people in here cant wait to critize everything that comes out.boom bap and conscious rap fans up in here are just as close minded as people who only like snap music.just because you like something doesnt mean the whole industry has to be that music.everybody doesnt want a positive message or lyrical content in their music.some people just wanna dance. so are you saying they shouldnt have music just because you dont like it?people need to quit complaining all the time from the sideline and get in the game.while your up in here complaining you could be making new music.

actually as a think about it. it's nothing new, its just worst then it was before.
